A visit to the enchanting Solang Valley, just 14 kilometers northwest of Manali, is a must. On the flip side, Sissu, a picturesque town nestled in Himachal Pradesh’s Lahaul district, is a gem waiting to be explored. Resting beside the Bhaga River and positioned merely two hours away from Baralacha-la, it boasts mesmerizing mountain vistas.

While Jispa may be perceived as merely a pit stop along the Manali-Leh Highway by some, I respectfully disagree. This quaint village, perched at a breathtaking altitude of 10,500 feet and home to only around 78 households, warrants a visit in its own regard. Its tranquil and serene ambiance offers a zen-like experience that lingers, making it an ideal complement to your Manali-Sissu excursion.
